Summer 2022 applications are due…TODAY! We already surpassed last summer’s number of applicants and with the possibility of second weeks…well we’re getting back toward a “normal” summer. I could not be more excited! I will be in the office all afternoon if anyone would like to drop their application off in person. If I’m not in the office you may leave it in the basket on the office door.

Happy New Year everyone! Summer 2022 applications are due this Friday…please make every effort to get them in on time. I’ll be hiring counseling staff based upon the number of applications I’ve received as of January 7th. I’ll do my best to accommodate late applicants but…no promises.

Kleeman Mechanical has been busy replacing the furnace and the air conditioning units at the west end of our building. It may not be as glamorous as some of our recent projects but dependable and more efficient heating and cooling will benefit both our occupants and our budget.

With applications arriving daily I have something to look forward to other than bills! Please make every effort to get them in the mail before the due date of January 7th. Thank you!

Summer 2022 applications are arriving…quickly! Thank you! Reminder…due date is January 7th, 2022.

It has been too long folks! I apologize for the infrequent updates. Camp continues to make progress toward restoring the programming that was interrupted by the pandemic. Our day program is thriving. Weekends are back although somewhat inconsistent, due mostly to staffing. And summer?!? Applications are in the mail! They are due January 7th. I’m trying to get an early start on staffing (which came very close to canceling Summer Camp 2021) and knowing how many of our campers plan to attend will be very beneficial.

Also extremely noteworthy…The Sheboygan Motor Company recently donated $100,000.00 toward the construction of our pool natatorium. Amazing! The entire Camp Evergreen family appreciates their over-the-top generosity. We also received a $50,000.00 grant from the Bounce Back Wisconsin Program for summer camps. There have been some other extremely generous donations that I’ll tell you about as soon as I have permission to publicly acknowledge them.

I hope all of you have a wonderful holiday season. Stay safe, warm, and healthy!
